Each year NKC Schools media centers sponsor "The Truman Challenge", a contest to see which middle school's students could read the most Truman nominee books. (More...)
Harbison Finishes in Top 20% at DECA Internationals
Winnetonka High School junior Chris Harbison finished in the top 20 percent at the DECA International Career Development Conference competition held in Anaheim in late April. (More...)

Transportation Dept. will celebrate the retirement of Director Shirley Patrick and her 39 years of service. Celebrate with them in the CO Transportation Training Room from 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22.

Oak Park High School will host a retirement open house for Interim Principal Gary Miller on Thursday, May 23, in the school's media center. Event is planned from 4-5:30 p.m.

Maplewood Elementary will host a Retirement Open House for Debbie Fritson and Joyce Christman on Thursday, May 23, at the Maplewood Media Center from 4-5:30 p.m.
May 24
Friday, May 24, is no longer the last day of school due to snow days taken during the winter months. Friday, May 24, now reverts to a full day of school. The last day of school, which will be Friday, May 31, is the half day for K-12 students.
