North Kansas City Schools is proudly celebrating its 100th anniversary during the 2012-2013 school year.
Several special events and projects commemorate the centennial, including a hardcover book that chronicles the district’s rich history and traditions through photographic images and descriptive text. The volume has been published in partnership with Kansas City Star Books.

FUNDRAISING PROJECTS
The North Kansas City Schools Education Foundation is currently raising money for three centennial projects:
- Funding 100 x $100 grants to enhance student learning
- Launching a new district-wide reading project
