It's Time to Apply Yourself!
Apply now for grant opportunities of up to $3,000 offered through the Education Foundation’s Dr. Dan Kahler Innovative Teaching Grants Program. All North Kansas City Schools employees are eligible to apply. Click on the GRANTS link below for more information and applications.
In spring 2012, the Education Foundation will award graduating seniors approximately 40 college scholarships ranging from $250 to $2,500. To view a list of scholarships, criteria and applications, click on the SCHOLARSHIPS link below.
GRANTS
Grants funded by the Education Foundation stimulate an enthusiasm for learning and provide extraordinary educational experiences for students. Examples include running a marketing and ad agency for non-profit organizations, using e-readers to build reading skills and enjoy classic works of literature, and opening up lines of communication and creating understanding among a school’s diverse student population.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The Education Foundation provides college scholarships for seniors who are graduating from North Kansas City Schools, as well as dependents of district employees.

Established in 1996, the North Kansas City Schools Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that recognizes innovation and excellence in education. It funds teaching grants and college scholarships, and supports schools and school-related programs through various fundraising activities. The Education Foundation offers a formal system for raising, managing and distributing funds under the guidance of an Advisory Board.
