The Horizons Program is a unique educational program that serves secondary students in grades 7-10 who have been unsuccessful in the traditional school environment and would benefit from small group instruction that is targeted to each student’s individual academic level.
The program stresses academic achievement and appropriate social interaction. It is the goal of this program to allow students to remain on target for graduation with their classes.
Referrals are made through the student's attendance area school. For more information on Horizons, please feel welcome to contact Perry Hilvitz, Ed.D., at (816) 413-5087.
