All applicants are processed through Human Resources. The first step in the application process is to complete the online application. It is not necessary to wait for openings to apply, as we solicit applications continuously. We ask that you do not contact building principals and department administrators, as they will refer you back to Human Resources. **As of January 5, 2012, North Kansas City Schools is utilizing a new application system. As we transition to our new system, we will still review applications in our previous system as needed, but in order to receive full consideration, we encourage you to apply using the new online application. The transition period will end March 1st, at which point the previous system will become inactive.**

Please note, due to critical needs area, special education teachers may not transfer out of special education positions after May 15. All other positions are closed to transfers from July 1 - September 1.
