The Vicki Barmann Memorial SOAR Scholarship Announced
Vicki Barmann taught for forty-eight years. Her greatest love and passion was teaching French in North Kansas City Schools. She was an enthusiastic, caring, passionate teacher of thousands of students. She loved developing relationships with students, engaging them in rigorous work, traveling with them in the US and France, and challenging them to do and to be their best. Her dream was to inspire students in ways that would assist them in becoming accomplished in their personal, professional and spiritual lives. The content of her classes was French; the lessons were about life. Her legacy lives on here at Staley High School through the Vicki Barmann Memorial SOAR Scholarship.
