What a Season...Staley Baseball Finishes Second in MSHSAA Class 5 State Championship

The Staley High School Falcons baseball team won the semi-final game of the state tournament played Friday, June 5, beating out the Eureka Wildcats, 7-5. The game was played at the T.R. Hughes Ball Park in O'Fallon.  To view Staley Junior, Jack Duffy's, #SCtop10 catch in the top of the 5th inning during the semifinal game against Eureka, Click Here.    

The next day, they were matched against the Christian Brothers College Cadets, and lost 5-17 to this St. Louis team.

What a great spring season for the Falcons finishing second at state with a 27-4 record in Class 5 District 16 competition.

Senior Nate Bass Medals in 4 Events to Help Staley Capture 8th Place State

Finish in Track & Field Championships

Congratulations to the Staley High School Boys Track and Field Team for capturing an 8th place state finish out of 41 schools in the 89th Annual MSHSAA Track and Field Championships held at Lincoln University in Jefferson City on Saturday.  For a complete listing of Class 5 rankings, click here.  Nate Bass places in the 200 meter dash, 2nd in the 4 X 200 meter relay, 4th in the 100 meter dash and 4 X 100 meter relay.  Staley finished with 11 All-State athletes and 15 state medals.  Read more.

Mark Mundell, assistant principal and activities director at Staley High School, has received the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Award of Merit. The award came at the 43rd Annual Missouri Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) conference banquet in late spring.  Read More

Honor Rolls Announced for Second Semester

PRINCIPAL’S HONOR ROLL: Students with a 4.0 grade point average, no grades below A-, are eligible for the list. A minimum of 2.5 credits must be earned per semester to be considered for honor roll status.

FALCON HONOR ROLL: Students with a 3.2 grade point average with A’s, B’s and no more than one C are eligible for the list. A minimum of 2.5 credits must be earned per semester to be considered for honor roll status. Click Here

Falcon Club Installs 2015-2016 Board Volunteer of the Year Announced

Congratulations to the 2015-2015 Falcon Club Board.  They were installed at the May 13 meeting.  

How does Staley pick a volunteer of the year from one of the most active and involved high school PTSA/Booster Clubs in the state of Missouri? It is a good problem to have.  For the past seven years Staley has named seven volunteers of the year.  This year’s volunteer exemplifies the core values of volunteerism.  Read More.

Kevin Kooi Announced as New Assistant Principal at Staley
On May 5, the North Kansas City Schools Board of Education approved the transfer of Mr. Kevin Kooi from principal at Maple Park Middle School to assistant principal at Staley High School. Kooi will fill the assistant principal vacancy created by Fred Bouchard’s transfer to Central Office.
