Brighton Bridge Closure
North Brighton Bridge Construction Leads to Detours - Beginning April 4, construction will begin on the N. Brighton bridge over I-35. According the Kansas City Division of the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions for up to 55 days. This will result in detours on to Chouteau and Parvin roads. Access to several district schools will be affected and families are encouraged to find alternate routes for the duration of the project. Transportation also will send letters home to students who will have their bus routes adjusted.   For more information: http://www.modot.gov/kansascity/newrelease/District4Release.shtml?action=displaySSI&newsId=205752
