K2K Kickoff to Kindergarten

Summer Learning for KDG Students Pre- Enrolled for Fall 2017

Two-week session:

Tuesday, May 30th - Thursday, June 8th OR
Monday, June 12th - Thursday, June 22nd

* You will be notified of your child's session when class placement has been determined*

Time: 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Transportation provided for all eligible students. Breakfast and Lunch will be offered free each day.

We hope everyone has a wonderful summer! Continue to collect Box Tops over the summer. We will see you at Back to School night on August 14th. We will be there to answer any questions you may have.  Our first PTA meeting will be held on September 19th at 6:00 P.M. Everyone is welcomed!

Mid-Continent Public Library offers students K-12 live homework help from tutor.com

It is FREE! Students just need to register and get
a card. Tutor.com will connect students with live, expert tutors for one-to-one help with their homework assignemts. They can use Tutor.com from thier home computer or inside the library to complete assignments and improve grades.

Summer School Schedule

Here is the schedule for all the kids who are enrolled in our Summer School Program.

Week 1- Tuesday, May 30th through Friday, June 2nd
Week 2- Monday, June 5th through Thursday, June 8th
Week 3- Monday, June 12th through Thursday, June 15th
Week 4- Monday, June 19th through Thursday, June 22nd

The hours are 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office at 321-5110.

Hey Kids! Join us for Nutritious Summer Meals at No Charge!!

Where: Gracemor Elementary School

When: Breakfast: 8:50 A.M.- 9:10 A.M. and Lunch: 11:30 A.M. - 1:10 P.M.

Who: All children ages 18 and under are eligible for free meals!

Come in and have breakfast and lunch during the following dates. Tuesday, May 30th- Thursday, June 22nd. (No service June 9th or June 16th)

Mark your calendars now!

Back to School Night will be Monday, August 14th from 4:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.

The first day of school will be Wednesday, August 16th.

Bell times are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday- 9:15 A.M. - 4:10 P.M. and on Thursdays- 9:15 A.M. - 3:35 P.M.

Please use this number if your child is going to be absent or tardy. Homework may be requested at this time.

All absences excused or unexcused, count against your child's attendance percentage.

The mystery of "excused", "verified" and "unexcused" absences....
Unexcused: Any time a student is absent with no parent communication or contact.
Verified: When a parent contacts the school to explain the child's absence.
Excused: When a parent provides the school a note from the doctors office to explain the child's absence.
