Back to School Night, Monday, August 14, 4:30-6:30 pm is a time to meet your child's teacher, tour the building, bring school supplies, find your bus information, join the PTA, deposit $ in your child's lunch account, and order school spirit wear.  A New Parent Presentation will be held in the café at 6:00 pm.

Dismissal Changes need to be made in person or by sending signed written notification (include the teacher's name) before 3:00 p.m. every school day.  Last minute/emergency changes may be made by calling the office and speaking with a staff member before 3:00 p.m. (2:35 on Thursdays).  Please see page 11 in the Parent Handbook if you have any questions.

Individual Pictures will be taken September 7.  These pictures will be put in the yearbook.  Order forms will be sent home in backpacks the end of August and are due on picture day.

Fuel Up to Play 60 is a program founded by the NFL & the National Dairy Council to benefit the community by empowering student to develop personal healthy habits.  Northview Students will learn the importance of regular exercise and healthy eating.  Click here for details on how to sign up. 

NKC Elementary Track Meet is Thursday, September 14 from 5-7 pm at Staley High School.  This is a fun event.  Northview students will complete against other NKC district elementary school students.  Click here for the sign up sheet.

Panther Running Club will be held on Thursday mornings at 7:45 am, August 24-Nov 16.  This group will focus on endurance and stamina by completing at least one mile each practice.  Click here for the enrollment form.

The Cafe has a la carte options (chips, ice cream, etc.) available for students to purchase.  If you do not want your student purchasing a specific a la carte item, or want to restrict it to specific days, please call our Cafe Manager at 321-5174.

Mid-Continent Public Library offers students K-12 live homework help from tutor.com.  It is FREE. Students just need to register and get a card.  Tutor.com will connect students with live, expert tutors for one-to-one help with their homework assignments.  They can use Tutor.com from their home computer or inside the library to complete assignments and improve grades.  Direct questions about the program to Mid Continent Public Library at acaviness@mymcpl.org.  Register to get a card at https://www.mymcpl.org/catalog/get-card.  The link to get started is: https://www.mymcpl.org/homework.
