Nurse's Corner

Please remember, any prescription medicines at school requires the proper paperwork to be filled out. Please contact Nurse Shannon for this paperwork.

FYI....If your child has been sick with fever, vomiting or diarrhea they need to be symptom free, without medicine, for 24 hours before they can return to school.  If you have any questions please call Nurse Shannon or the office.

If your child wears "flip flops" to school, please send an extra pair of shoes for gym & recess.

Welcome to Bell Prairie Elementary, Home of the Mustangs!

From Mrs. Dever:

     Service Learning

We love to hear about our Mustangs making a difference in the community!  If your child is volunteering to make a difference, encourage him/her to fill out a "Service Learning Hall of Fame" Sheet.  Their name and service will be announced in the morning and displayed on the bulletin board.  Find the form on the right side of the webpage and return to Mrs. Dever.

     Holiday Assistance

Believe it or not, it's time to be thinking ahead to December when financial stressors can become overwhelming.  If you are anticipating needing support and resources, please contact me at or 321.4469.

From the PTA:

     And the ADDITIONAL Winner is....

Mrs. Ross' Kindergarten class!!  Mrs. Ross' class, along with Mrs. Barrows' class, had the highest percentage of PTA memberships and will be rewarded with a chocolate chip cookie party!

     Mustang Fun Run

The PTA is looking for an outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic person with a goofy personality that can cheer on our kids and be our MC/DJ for our Mustang Fun Run we are having all day on October 28th.  If you don't know of anyone but would be willing to hire someone or sponsor someone, we would greatly appreciate it!!  This would be a great thing for a business to sponsor!! Please contact Lisa Webb at or Shawna Heintz at if you can help in any way!

From Dr. Martin:

Congratulations to our 2015 - 2016 VIP Car Rider winner!  This fast and easy car rider pick up could be yours by bidding on this silent auction item at our annual Hoe Down this spring!
