8th Grade Activities Fair
This evening is designed to showcase all that NKC has to offer outside of the classroom. Students and Parents will get an opportunity to explore all of the activities, arts, athletics, clubs, and organizations at Northtown and meet with coaches, sponsors, and students.

Speech and Debate are State Champions
Twelve students from Northtown competed at the state speech and debate tournament. Congratulations to them on their results: -State Champions in debate (first in school history) -State champs policy debate- Trent Dixon/Duaa Mohamed (third time ever in school history and last win was 1962)

Missouri Scholars 100
High school seniors Charles Moloney and Jonny Diep of North Kansas City High School has been selected for the 2022 Missouri Scholars 100.

State Journalism Awards
Last week, the journalism department received numerous awards at state Journalism Day, held at MU. Yearbook teacher Mary Prichard was honored as MIPA's journalism teacher of the year. Below are the individual student awards.

Eight Regional Art Winners
Congratulations to these 8 students who received regional awards in the Scholastic Art & Writing Competition.
