The North Kansas City Schools Board of Education provides governance for the district as its top elected officials. The Superintendent of Schools reports directly to the Board of Education.
The school board uses a web-based eGovernance program called BoardDocs that allows board members and members of the public to easily access current and archived school board agendas, related documents and meeting minutes in an online format.
Agendas for the meetings are posted on BoardDocs at 12:01 a.m. the day before a scheduled meeting. All agendas, supporting documents and minutes approved by the Board of Education also may be found on this site.
April 2, 2024 Board Election Results
Unofficial results from the Clay County Board of Election Commissioners show that voters have elected Susan Hines, Jane Rinehart, and Joe Jacobs to three-year terms on the NKC Schools Board of Education. Voters also elected Jan Kauk to a one-year term.
