Oak Park High School has a long history of pride and student accomplishment. For more than 50 years, Oak Park has focused on doing what is best for students, and nearly 30,000 graduates have benefitted from first-rate experiences in academics, music, theater and sports. Now surrounded by well-established neighborhoods, a vibrant commercial corridor and a city park, Oak Park High School remains a proud Northland tradition.

2018 ICLE Model School
We are proud to announce that Oak Park was named a National Model High School by the International Center for Leadership in Education in 2018! OPHS is one of only eight high schools in the nation to receive this designation! Oak Park was recognized for upholding a high standard of excellence for all students.
