High School SAGE Resources: Grades 9-12

  • Location: Specific to students' high schools

    Students in the SAGE program at the high school level benefit from personalized services allowing each to maximize his or her capabilities.

    A Gifted Resource Specialist (GRS) who serves as an adviser to the gifted students in grades 9-12 is located at each high school. In this capacity, the GRS is able to help students develop a personalized profile plan for attaining their career and college goals resulting in an individualized school program to meet these needs.  

    The Gifted Resource Specialist works with the student’s counselor to develop a four-year high school plan and choose appropriate courses. The GRS will work with students and parents in recommending extra-curricular activities, summer programs, available scholarships, competitions, and will assist in facilitating internships and mentor programs.
