High School Equivalency Preparation Classes

  • We offer classes for High School Equivalency to help prepare students to take the HiSET exam (formerly the GED). Morning classes are held from 9:30 am-12:00pm and evening classes are held from 6:00pm-8:30pm (Monday through Thursday). Students are asked to commit to all scheduled classes to successfully prepare for the HiSET Exam. Click below to register for classes.

    • If you are planning to take the HiSET test, the cost will be around $100 for in-person testing and $150 for online testing for the full battery.

    • We do not give the HiSET test at this location. When it is determined that you are ready to take the tests (through formal and informal assessment tools), we will help you sign up for the test at the best location for you. Remote testing for the HiSET is currently an option. HiSET testing information can be found at hiset.org.

    • If English is not your native language, we require students to read English at a fifth grade level or higher. If not, we will prepare you through our English Language Learner program. Concurrent enrollment in both programs is an option for students that meet those requirements.

**We will conduct in-person orientations throughout the year. Please check your email regularly after registering so you don't miss any information.
