Social Studies Courses

  •

The Social Studies department includes courses from U.S. and world history, geography, political science (citizenship and government), and the social sciences (psychology and sociology). Learning is grounded in the close study of primary and secondary sources, as well as reading, writing, speaking, and listening to make sense of history and current events, including the issues, ideas, and concepts that contribute to the conflict and cooperation in our world. Students will connect the past to their world today through inquiry-based experiences in a range of courses.
