We are excited to announce plans for NKC Schools 11th Annual Summer Academy. After surveying last summer's participants, we learned some really missed the excitement and connections that an in-person experience provides; however, many also indicated the appreciation of the flexibility provided by virtual sessions. Based on that feedback, we intend to offer a combination of in-person and virtual options this summer. Given city/county/state restrictions allow for them, in-person sessions will take place on July 20, 21, and 22, at North Kansas City High School (and alternative locations as necessary). The virtual sessions will take place on three Fridays in July (July 9, July 16, and July 23). These dates were chosen to allow for our Crestview and Winnwood colleagues to join everyone on July 9, as well as anyone teaching summer school to join on any Friday. As was the case last year, we will record all virtual sessions and make them available for later viewing. If you are planning to attend, we will open enrollment in those selected sessions in April.
