  • We are so excited to welcome your student to kindergarten in NKC Schools! We know that as you prepare for your child to begin school, you may have questions. The links on the left provide more information on the many resources and support services available to families throughout the district.

Enrollment & Registration (Current School Year)

    New Students

    My child is brand-new to NKC Schools for kindergarten or my family participated only in Parents as Teachers, not an NKC Schools pre-K program.
    Returning Students

    My child attended preschool in NKC Schools.
    Extended Year
    Students

    My child attended a school in the district last year and will attend Crestview Elementary School or Winnwood Elementary School in the upcoming year.
     

     


    Enrollment for Next School Year (2023-2024)


    Enrollment for new families and all families attending Crestview and Winnwood (our extended year schools) is now open.  

    Enrollment and registration for students who are returning to the district (have attended NKC Schools pre-K programs) will begin in July.

Kindergarten Round-Up: Coming This Spring to a School Near You!

  • We can't wait to welcome your family to our district in person at your child's future elementary school! Kindergarten Round-Up is a time for incoming kindergarten students and families to visit the building, meet staff members, and get acquainted. 

    Briarcliff, Chouteau, Crestview, Davidson, West Englewood: Thursday, April 6, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

    Bell Prairie, Northview, Fox Hill, Nashua, Rising Hill: Thursday, April 6, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

    Chapel Hill, Gashland, Linden West, Meadowbrook: Wednesday, April 19, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

    Oakwood Manor: Wednesday, April 19, 6:00 p.m.

    Lakewood, Ravenwood, Topping, Winnwood: Thursday, April 20, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

    Gracemor, Maplewood: Thursday, April 20, 2023, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
