• Interested in Early College Academy?

    The ECA is a half day, off campus program open to Juniors and Seniors who qualify.


    Qualifications:
    Unweighted high school cumulative grade point average of 2.75
    90% attendance
    College Readiness Scores: ACT composite score of 18+, English 18+, and Math 22+ or take the Accuplacer (college placement exam) and test into College level courses: Eng 101, No Reading, Math 115, 120, 130.

    After you get your MCC Student number you can take the Accuplacer Exams.

    Application Process:
    Complete MCC application and generate the MCC Student #...this is a free application and takes about 5 minutes to complete. Everyone is accepted to MCC –in order to receive an MCC student number to take the Accuplacer.
    Complete NKC application and two teacher recommendations.
    Submit ACT or Accuplacer scores. To schedule a time to take Accuplacer exam, your high school may offer this testing or you can contact MCC to schedule testing on your own. There is no charge to take the exam and you may take it twice.
    Interview with Assistant Director of College and Career.
    All paperwork (and ideally testing) should be submitted by March 11, 2022.
