Course Description: This course focuses on different methods of communicating, making connections, building
relationships, and effective communication within a community. Students will analyze the role of self-concept,
perception, language, diversity, conflict, and listening as related to impactful communication. This course
examines various forms and contexts of verbal and non-verbal communication.
