  • Course Description: This course develops student understanding of distribution, financing, marketing
    information management, pricing, product/service management, promotion, and selling. Enrollment in
    Marketing Internship is optional, giving students the opportunity to apply newly acquired marketing skills in the
    workplace while earning credit and an income. Students enrolled in Marketing Education participate in DECA, a
    student organization that provides opportunities for students to demonstrate their mastery of the marketing
    curriculum in competitive events, to develop leadership skills, and to exhibit awareness of civic responsibilities.
    DECA can assist students in receiving scholarships, building a successful resume, and networking with business
    people.
