April 8, 2025 Board Election
Six district residents have declared their candidacy in the upcoming election for the North Kansas City Schools Board of Education. Voters will select two directors on Election Day, Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Two candidates will be elected to the two open seats, both for a three-year term. Names are listed in the order they will appear on the ballot.

League of Women Voters: March 19
The League of Women Voters Jackson-Clay-Platte is hosting a candidate forum virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 19 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Register online to join the virtual meeting.
NKC Community for Public Schools: March 24
The group NKC Community for Public Schools is hosting a virtual candidate forum on March 24 at 6:00 p.m. Join the Zoom meeting here (passcode: 642147). The forum will be recorded.
District PTA Council: April 1
The District PTA Council is hosting a Board of Education Candidate Forum on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the Doolin Board Room (1900 NE 46th St, KCMO 64116). The forum will also be live-streamed here.
