Board of Education Meetings

The North Kansas City Schools Board of Education generally meets twice monthly throughout the regular school year on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Occasionally, work sessions are added, or a Board meeting is moved. When in doubt, contact Peggy Cole, Secretary/Clerk of the Board, at (816) 321-4361.

All agendas, supporting documents and minutes approved by the Board of Education may be found on Community, an online governance initiative to provide easier public access to district-related information. Agendas for the meetings are posted on Community at 12:01 a.m. the day before a scheduled meeting. Please visit Community to see meetings, agendas and minutes.

Meeting Archive

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Education continued to meet for their regularly scheduled meetings while observing local health department guidance. From June 2020 through November 2020, the Board met in person, but without other attendees due to social distancing guidelines. Since that time, the Board has continued to stream Board meetings online to provide convenient access for all patrons. Meetings may be streamed live online via the district's YouTube channel.
