Secondary Education (7-12)

A student's secondary years are some of the most exciting of their educational journey. In North Kansas City Schools, grades 7-12 are considered secondary education, focused on preparing students for their future academic and career paths. Across four middle schools and four high schools, we offer a wide range of challenging academic courses, including advanced placement and honors classes, as well as a variety of elective options to cater to different interests and career goals. Beginning in ninth grade, all students engage in College & Career Pathways. 

Our middle and high schools provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to develop critical thinking skills, explore their passions, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers. Our dedicated staff members work tirelessly to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
