School for Adult English Language Learners

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR the 2025-2026 school year

We offer free classes for English Language Learners to improve communication, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary through the four core skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening.

• DAYS: Classes are held twice a week, Monday through Thursday. You may choose a Monday/Wednesday class OR a Tuesday/Thursday class.
• TIMES: Morning classes are from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Night classes are from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• REGISTRATION IS CLOSED for our current school year. We will post the date of our next orientation on our main webpage when it is scheduled. Be aware there is usually a waiting list for all orientations. Please call 816-321-5011 for more information.

SNOW DAY POLICY:  If North Kansas City Schools are closed due to bad weather, classes will be cancelled.
