School for Adult English Language Learners

We offer classes for English Language Learners to improve communication, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary through the four core skills of: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday. Morning classes are from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Evening classes are from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. You will be given your class schedule after completing the orientation. REGISTRATION BEGINS JULY 1, 2025 for our August orientation. Be aware there is usually a waiting list. Please call 816-321-5011 for more information.

SNOW DAY POLICY:  If North Kansas City Schools are closed due to bad weather, classes will be cancelled.
