Summer 2024 REgistration Information for All schools except Winnwood & Crestview

Elementary (kindergarten through 4th grade)

Students in kindergarten through 4th grade will attend Adventure Club at elementary sites (see below for summer combining sites). Summer enrollment is month-to- month and you may select which months are needed at the time of enrollment. Elementary students who participate in the month of June must be enrolled in summer school at the school they attend. There is no fee for summer school and enrollment information will be sent home from your students school. On Fridays in June and the months of July and August Adventure Club is held at the summer combined sites. Children will need a disposable sack lunch and drink on each full day. Adventure Club online registration must be completed in the parent portal. No walk-ins or phone enrollments. Registration may be done on a desktop, laptop or mobile device. A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of $60 for the first student and $50 for additional students is due at the time of enrollment. Your registration is not complete until this fee is paid and you receive a confirmation email that your registration has been submitted. A second confirmation email from the Adventure Club office will be sent when your application has been reviewed and approved.

You will receive an email containing the summer newsletter that includes the summer field trip calendar and additional information one week prior to the start of the summer program.

TGA-The Great Adventure (completed 5th through 7th grade)

Students who have completed 5th through 7th grade will attend TGA "The Great Adventure" at Gateway 6th Grade Center. Enrollment in summer school is optional and not a requirement for students enrolled in TGA in June. Children will need a disposable sack lunch and drink everyday. Adventure Club online registration must be completed in the parent portal. No walk-ins or phone enrollments. Registration may be done on a desktop, laptop or mobile device. A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of $60 for the first student and $50 for additional students is due at the time of enrollment. Your registration is not complete until this fee is paid and you receive a confirmation email that your registration has been submitted. A second confirmation email from the Adventure Club office will be sent when your application has been reviewed and approved.

Summer Program Hours/Monthly Tuition

Adventure Club program hours in June are: 6:45 a.m. until summer school starts and after summer school ends until 6:00 p.m. 

Fridays in June, all of July and August the program hours are: 6:45 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

A 1.00 per minute late fee is accessed after 6:00 p.m. This is according to the time on the Adventure Club iPad. 

Tuition is paid monthly and is due on the 1st of each month, late if paid after midnight on the 15th of the month. Please read our Parent Handbook (see link below) for additional information about our Adventure Club program. 

Tuition Assistance

Adventure Club offers tuition assistance for families who qualify for assistance through the Division of Family Services and the Free or Reduced Meals program. Please call our office at 816-321-5017 for additional information.

School Year 2024-25 Registration Information For All Schools

Adventure Club is offered to students in kindergarten through 5th grade at all district elementary schools except Topping Elementary. Please contact the Early Education Center at 816-321-5250 for pre-school options. Registration is done through the parent portal and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration can be done on a desktop, laptop or mobile device. A non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee of $50 per child is due at time of enrollment for all schools except Crestview and Winnwood.  The registration fee for Modified Schools (Crestview and Winnwood) is $55 per child and is non-refundable and non-transferable.  Your registration is not complete until the fee is paid, and you receive a confirmation e-mail that your registration has been submitted.  A second confirmation e-mail from the Adventure Club office will be sent when your application has been reviewed and approved. See links below for pricing and operating calendars.  Adventure Club online registration must be completed in the parent portal.  No walk-ins or phone enrollments.  Click on the Parent Portal link below to register.  New families please use the purple “Open Account New Parents” box.  If your site is full, please call the Adventure Club office at 816-321-5017 to be added to the wait list. There is a limited number of spaces available at each site on the wait list.

Gashland Families

Due to staffing sustainability, Gashland Adventure Club will continue to combine with Clardy for the 2024-25 school year.  You will drop off and pick up your child at Clardy and we will provide bus service to and from Gashland for their school day.  Please select Clardy as the school when enrolling your Gashland child.

Adventure Club is North Kansas City Schools' before-and after-school child care program. Services are offered at all elementary schools, except Topping Elementary, throughout the school year.  We also offer a summer program.
