Registration information for Summer 2026 and School Year 2026–2027 will be posted by March 1, 2026.

Priority Registration (Current Families)

Current families (enrolled in School Year 2025–26 and current on billing) have a priority registration for both Summer 2026 and School Year 26-27.

This information will be sent out to all families currently using our services 
Spots are guaranteed only during this window. Families who do not register must enroll during open enrollment and are not guaranteed a seat.

Open Registration (anyone not current in billing and in services)

Once current families have their priority registration week chance, remaining available seats at the sites will be open to the public. This a first come, first serve basis and once a site is at capacity, families are welcome to call the Adventure Club Office at 816-321-5017 to see about waitlist availability. 

How Registration Works

• Online only through the Parent Portal through desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone

• First come, first served

• $50 non-refundable, non-transferable fee per child

• Two emails will be sent:

1. Application submitted

2. Application approved

Important Notes

• Your child cannot attend until you receive an approved start date from the office.

• If waitlisted, our office will notify you when a seat becomes available.

Check School Availability

1. Go to the parent portal, go to right side (in purple box) and click" Register"

2. Click the purple box and then the green Register button

3. Select School Year 2025–26

4. Enter your email and click Continue

5. Click View Detail by Site

6. If your site shows Closed, no seats are available

   • Call 816-321-5017 to check waitlist availability

You cannot create or pre-register an account without an available seat.

Waitlist Information

Please note that Adventure Club is not offered at Topping Elementary. For this reason, Topping does not have an enrollment option or waitlist.

Adventure Club offers a waitlist at all other elementary schools. Each waitlist has a limited number of seats. If a list is not full, we are happy to add your child—please call 816-321-5017.

How the Waitlist Works

• Waitlists are separate for each program (School Year or Summer).
  They do not transfer between programs or from one year to the next.

• When a seat becomes available, the Adventure Club Office will contact the family.
  You will have 48 hours to accept the seat by phone or email.
  If no response is received within 48 hours, the seat is offered to the next family. No exceptions.

• Families remain on the waitlist until the end of that program only.
  (Example: being on the Summer 2025 waitlist does not move you to the 2025–26 School Year waitlist.)

• There is no fee to join the waitlist.

Program Hours ⏰

• Normal School Days: 6:45 a.m. – school start & after school until 6:00 p.m.

• Snow Days: 7:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

• Full Days: 6:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Late Pick-Up Fee: $1.00 per minute after 6:00 p.m. (based on Adventure Club iPad time)

Adventure Club Office Hours 🏢

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Delayed responses may occur on district professional development days. Messages will be answered as quickly as possible.

• To present a check, call 816-321-5017 to schedule an appointment and receive directions.

Tuition 💳

• Paid monthly, due on the 1st of each month. Late after midnight on the 15th.

• Pay via Parent Portal or call 816-321-5017 during office hours.

Tuition Assistance 🎓

• Available for families who qualify through the Division of Family Services.

• Call 816-321-5017 and ask for Denise for details.

• No additional free or reduced meal discount applications are being accepted at this time. Limited waitlist available.

• Division of Family Services applicants may still apply.

Additional Fees 💰

Snow Days ❄️

• Operates at combined sites.

• Fee: $15 per student, per day (not included in monthly tuition).

• Fee due by midnight on the 15th of the following month.

• Students must bring lunch and a drink.

Make-Up Days 📆

• Tuition extends if academic calendar adds make-up days.

• Fee: $15 per student, per day (separate from snow day fees).

• Fee due by June 15, 2026.

Drop-In Care (AM or PM Only) ➕

• Up to 3 drop-in days per student per year.

• Fee: $15 per student, per day.

• Must call the office in advance to schedule.

• For emergencies, call as soon as the office opens to arrange care and add the charge.

Gashland Families 🚌

Due to staffing considerations, Gashland Adventure Club will continue to combine with Clardy for the 2025–26 school year.

• Drop-off and pick-up will be at Clardy.

• Bus service will be provided to and from Gashland for the school day.

• When enrolling Gashland students, please select Clardy as the school.

Incoming 6th–8th Graders 🎒

• Adventure Club does not offer school-year care for 6th–8th grade.

• Families may contact their student’s school for after-school activities or programs.

• During the summer months, TGA (The Great Adventure) is available for children who have completed 5th–7th grade.

  • Summer school enrollment is optional and not required for participation in TGA.

• All summer information, including TGA, is posted on the website by the end of February/beginning of March each year.
