Compliance & Support

Understanding that a positive district culture is one cornerstone of a successful school system, the Office of Compliance and Support creates the conditions necessary to develop environments of belonging and systems of advocacy to enhance the North Kansas City Schools experience for all stakeholders. Using Board of Education policy as a foundational guide and Restorative Practices as an operational philosophy, the Office of Compliance and Support aims to promote the physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being of all students, staff, and community patrons. Core focal areas of the department are equity, compliance,  and alternative education programming.
