Students in the North Kansas City School District are riding in some of the safest buses in Missouri - according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. NKC Schools' Transportation Department has consistently earned the Total Fleet Excellence Award for nearly three decades.

This is the 25th year in a row that the North Kansas City Schools Transportation department has earned the 'Total Fleet Excellence Award'.
