School nurses attend to immediate student health needs, complete health and vision screenings, participate in the development and implementation of individual health plans for students with special needs, maintain immunization and other required public health records and provide health education.
Contact your school nurse or administrator regarding your school's medication policy and medication form. In general, medications that are to be taken by a student are to be delivered in person by the student's parent/guardian to the school nurse or to other authorized personnel.
