About Bell Prairie

  • Bell Prairie opened its doors to students in August 2009 and is one of the newest elementary schools in the North Kansas City School District.

    Following the commitment to constructing schools with green technology, Bell Prairie is a LEED certified school and received a “Gold” designation in January 2010. In fact, it is the first K-12 educational structure to receive a “Gold” designation in the state of Missouri.

    School Hours - 8:45 a.m. - 3:40 p.m. (Thursday Early Release: 3:05 p.m.)

    The building opens at 8:30 a.m. for students to arrive. If arriving after 8:45 am, an adult must sign in their student.

    Half-Day Release - 12:00 p.m.
