Transportation
View your child’s bus stop information, pick-up and drop-off times in the Parent Portal. Simply log in and click the Transportation tab on the left. 2023-24 bus stop information will be available in August.
If your student is riding the bus this year, make sure to download the VersaTrans My Stop App. Track bus arrival times, delays, and more right from your Apple or Android device. Learn more and get started here.
Enrollment & Registration
All NKC Schools families (new and returning) are required to complete the enrollment and registration process each year. Enrollment for new families and all Crestview and Winnwood families opened on March 29, 2023. Enrollment for returning families opened on July 11, 2023.
Technology
NKC Schools students use a variety of technology tools to support learning across all grades. All parents and guardians are encouraged to create a Parent Observer account on Canvas, our online learning management system. A parent observer account allows you to view your child's progress, assignments and other information.
Click here to learn how to create your Parent Observer account on Canvas.
Enrollment, along with grade, schedule, bus and other general information may be accessed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Food & Nutrition Services
The federal waiver and funding that allowed us to provide free meals for all students ended on in May of 2022. NKC Schools is no longer able to offer free meals for all. If you believe that you might qualify for free or reduced meals, fill out an application online as soon as possible.
Families are strongly encouraged to apply for the free/reduced price meals program. This ensures discounts on a variety of other programs, including testing, activity fees and more! Apply online here.
Forms & Links
As they are updated and become available, each school handbook may be found on individual school websites, under the For Families tab.
