Enrollment & Registration

Register & Enroll in Kindergarten (Current School Year)

Registration and enrollment for kindergarten takes place through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. This website is where families and teachers can access information about students' attendance and progress in school. To get started, please click the appropriate type of student for your kindergartener below. 

New Students

My child is brand-new to NKC Schools for kindergarten, or my family participated only in Parents as Teachers, not an NKC Schools pre-K program. Returning Students

My child attended preschool in NKC Schools. Extended Year
Students

My child will attend Crestview Elementary School or Winnwood Elementary School.

Enrollment for Next School Year (2023-2024)


Enrollment for families attending Crestview and Winnwood (our extended year schools) will open in March 2023.  

2023-24 enrollment and registration for families who are new to the district will open later in the spring. Enrollment and registration for students who are returning to the district (have attended NKC Schools pre-K programs) will begin in July.
