Posted 02/12/2018 09:05AM

We would like to announce Winnetonka’s Louder Than A Bomb Competitive team for the 2018 season: Danielle Dodd, Harper Ross, Kennedi Walker, Kyle Hayden, Katie Bullock, Luke Milroy and Cari Foster.   We would also like to invite you to come see them perform Tuesday, February 27th at the Black Archives (18th and Vine). The event is free to the public and starts at 6:00 PM. We will compete against three other schools in this preliminary bout. The five poets who will take the stage during this bout are: Danielle Dodd and Kennedi Walker with a duo piece, and Harper Ross, Kyle Hayden and Katie Bullock with individual pieces. Luke Milroy and Cari Foster will be on deck as our alternates for the evening.   Please know you can have a little Arthur Bryant’s with your buddies and then come see us OR you can hitch a ride on the Poetry Pep Bus, which leaves from the teacher’s parking lot at 5:00 PM. Just let me know you want a ride.   For those of you who have supported us in the past during semi-finals, I want to let you know that this year both semi-finals and finals fall during our spring break, so if you want to see Danielle Dodd (last year’s Spirit of the Slam award winner) take the stage for her farewell year and you are gone over spring break: don’t miss this! Four of our seven competitors are seniors. Come listen to them enlighten KC!
