Congrats to our girls state track and field qualifiers who earned spots for next Friday and Saturday's championships at the Class 4 sectional meet this past weekend. They will be competing in Jefferson City Memorial Day weekend.
Lily Abdulla (Sr.) - Lily qualified in the 800 meter run and the Girls 4x400 relay. A bit of history here: Lily is Winnetonka's first four year state qualifier in school history. She has qualified for the state meet all four years of high school and is apart of school records in the 4x400 and 4x800 Relays.
Ashley Johnson (Jr.) Ashley qualified as apart of the 4x400 Relay. This is Ashley's 3rd straight trip to the state championships and she has been apart of 3 state qualifying relays and the school record 4x400 relay.
Amyah Davis (Fr.) - Amyah qualified in the 100 hurdles and ran the lead off leg on the qualifying 4x400 relay Saturday. She is also the school record holder in the 300 hurdles.
Juliana Lupercio (Fr.) - Juliana ran the anchor leg of the qualifying 4x400 Relay and held off Platte Co, Kearney and Kirksville to lock up a relay spot for state. She also has the second longest triple jump in school history set last week at the district meet.

Faith Endsley is a recent 2018 graduate of Staley High School and her story is a miraculous tale of conquering extreme challenges and thriving against all odds.
