Information on 2017 EOC Exams for English II and Algebra I
Posted 09/08/2017 08:41AM
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) recently announced the End-of-Course (EOC) Exams for English II and Algebra I did not produce year-to-year comparable results and will not be used in calculation of district Annual Performance Reports (APR). The department does not plan to release statewide results for this reason.
Key points from DESE:
- Individual student raw scores are valid for that student.
- Districts may also use student EOC scores to determine A+ scholarship eligibility.
- For students who took the English II and Algebra I EOCs, the participation requirement has been met. Students do not need to retake these tests.
