Congratulations to Dr. Khalandi on being named the Greater Kansas City Assistant Principal of the year!

PLTW Distinguished School

Northtown has earned the honor of being a PLTW Distinguished School for the 2nd year in a row!

TSA State Results & National Qualifiers

Congratulations to these students who competed at the Missouri State TSA Competition, in Warrensburg, Mo. Northtown had 3 National Qualifiers in 3 separate events. They will be traveling to Louisville at the end of June to compete at Nationals

NKC JOURNALISM STUDENTS WIN BIG AT STATE COMPETITION

The annual MIJA Journalism Day was held at the University of Missouri-Columbia on March 29.  Northtown journalists competed in State Competition for the 2022-23 school year by submitting their student work entries to judges prior to the J-Day event. These students had a great showing! Award rankings were given on four levels: at the top were Best of Show and All-Missouri, followed by Superior, Excellent, and Honorable Mention.

Missouri Scholars 100

Congrats to our MO Scholars 100 Recipients. The program honors 100 of Missouri’s top academic students in the graduation class of 2023. Aisiatu Nakoulima and Wain Guo are both going to be honored at the MO Scholars 100 banquet on Sunday April 30th in Columbia, MO!

DECA Districts Results & State Qualifiers

This past Friday DECA took 25 students to district competition. We had:  20 students make it on stage to receive awards 9 qualify for state competition in March 5 receive first place in their events
