The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Grade Level Assessments evaluate students’ progress toward the Missouri Learning Standards. Grade-Level Assessments provide important information that contributes to decisions concerning individual students, groups of students, and educational programs. At New Mark, the majority of students are given assessments in the areas of Math and English Language Arts, and 8th graders are also given the assessment in the area of Science.
Your student’s Individual Student Report (ISR) includes an Achievement Level, which will describe their performance as Below Basic, Basic, Proficient, or Advanced. The report will also include a short description of the knowledge and skills that are typically demonstrated by students in each Achievement Level. These reports will be available at parent-teacher conferences this fall.
Students who took Algebra I for high school credit were given the End of Course exam this past spring. Results from this exam will be available through the Parent Portal in PowerSchool in the near future; however, if you would like a copy of your student’s results printed, please email email@example.com. Printed results can be picked up in the main office after the request has been made.
