81 Students Earn Seal of Biliteracy

Congratulations to the 81 students who have been awarded the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy! This award recognizes graduating seniors who have attained language proficiency in both English and another language by the end of their high school careers. This recognition certifies students' language skills to colleges and universities as well as future employers and the community.
The Class of 2019 is the first to participate in this program, and seven students have gone above and beyond to earn the Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy! This honor is awarded to students who demonstrate an advanced level of proficiency in a language other than English. In addition, six seniors have earned the Seal in three languages!
